| ... show exactly how many days are left till Christmas, because your home-made Advent calendar was, of course, ready in time for December 1st. It consists of 24 cornet- shaped bags, made of card in matching shades, decorated with stars and each containing a small present. Fill up the bags and hang them up using some nice ribbon. Perhaps in one of these Swedish-style half-timbered houses? The colourfully lit windows certainly look cosy enough! For Advent, you can make your own little Christmas village - and some seasonal twigs, tree decorations and candles will set it off beautifully. Tip: it's safer if you put the tea lights behind the houses in jars or glasses.
