Overlapped Splices with tesa 4900 (non-repulpable)

| tesa 4900 is a double-sided adhesive transfer tape with a high shear strength. It was specially developed for use in slit winders using an automatic taping unit for core starting and is thus the non-repulpable alternative to tesa 51916. |

Butt Splices with tesa 4447 / tesa 51444 / tesa 51445 (repulpable)

| The thin tesa 51445 and the even thinner tesa 51444 are both single-sided adhesive tapes with liner and a coatable backing for use in automatice butt splicers. tesa 4447, a single-sided adhesive tape without liner, has a siliconized backing and can also be used in automatic butt splicers. |
